QYON offerings

QYON offerings are part of the creative process of re-thinking, re-orienting, and re-building ourselves and our societies. They attempt to reduce the duality in our lives so that the authentic self can surface giving a feeling of oneness and calmness to lead a life of purpose, meaning, and fulfilment.

QYON Quest uses an examination of the self to understand our context, which in turn shapes us, our choices, aspirations, and perceptions. Through thought experiments, participants discover their beliefs, biases, and blind spots. The program aims to begin a process of churning that initiates silent inner dialogues to resolve conflicts on the inside and outside. QYON Quest uses a unique approach to leadership development where the site of work is the self and the lens is turned inwards as opposed to outwards. Participants co-create content during the retreat, which allows for better ownership of the findings and creates a space for them to delve into their own lived experiences. Transformation is more deep-seated and ‘sticks better’ when the answers are one’s own. For this reason, QYON prefers to hold space for open reflective dialogues where participants arrive at their own conclusions. This initiation into peeking inside and introspecting is a stepping stone to an exciting journey of mindfulness that begins at QYON but may last much longer. QYON Quest is a two to three day intensive residential retreat.

QYON Prism In today’s world one rarely has a chance to cross into another way of living or to reflect on one’s positionality and perspectives. QYON Prism immerses participants in other cultures to help them explore alternative world-views and ways of being and doing. The immersion exposes people to a plurality of perspectives and helps them compare and contrast their own beliefs with those of others. It is against this backdrop of immersion that mainstream narratives on contextual issues such as - but not limited to - development, progress, education, money, well-being, etc. are discussed to develop an engaged and more nuanced understanding of our world and how it is organized. This helps awaken the mind to become an independent and critical thinker that is not afraid to deconstruct and if need be unlearn and learn afresh. QYON Prism helps build a system-level understanding and clarity to help people embrace and sustain their life choices. It is a week-long immersive program.

QYON Ubuntu is named after the South African philosophy of ubuntu, which means ‘I am because of who we all are.’ The program exposes our human sameness, despite our superficial differences, and our need for connectedness and interdependence to lead harmonious lives. The program is targeted towards building happy work cultures which lead to better collaboration and performance. The program helps understand how we have a role to play and a choice to make in building a more inclusive and equitable world. QYON Ubuntu is offered over two days to organisations seeking to build workspaces that are not toxic, learning how to deal with negative emotions and create mental and emotional wellness at work!
